After graduating from college in May, I *finally* had enough time to take care of my health. Constant stomach cramps combined with painful bloating led me to believe that something was off-balance in my system. As I finally took a breath from nonstop work, I conducted some research on how to fix gut issues.
I quickly realized I had two main problems: my monthly period bloating, and my daily digestion struggles. Luckily, this deep-dive led me to discover wellness products from O Positiv like FLO vitamins for PMS and GOGO pre + probiotics for healthy digestion. FLO gummy vitamins target all my PMS problems, like bloating, hormonal acne, cramps and mood swings, and GOGO helps reset and regulate my digestive system.
Benefit #1: They are so yummy.
I struggled to eat only two FLO gummies per day. They are SO delicious. But alas, I practice restraint (and may have bought some gummy bears to join the party). GOGO pre + probiotics go into my morning smoothies, or even mixed with water as my orange juice replacement! Both supplements are the easiest additions to my routine I’ve ever made, with the most benefits.
Benefit #2: My stomach no longer hurts 24/7.
Before I started taking GOGO, it felt like I was always walking on eggshells with my intestines. I never knew what food would trigger miserable cramping and bloating. I couldn’t eat out with friends, enjoy long excursions, or do anything a normal 22-year-old would do.
After doing some (quite extensive) research, I found that GOGO has two main ingredients traditionally used to help digestion: Psyllium Husk (a prebiotic fiber) and Bacillus Coagulans (premium probiotics). Both are super good for your gut microbiome—and your gut microbiome directly affects your mental health, skin health, and pretty much every major system in your body. Balancing your gut bacteria is really important to your overall health!
One month later, and I have a new lease on life. I take GOGO & FLO daily, eat well-balanced meals, move my body regularly, and my digestion has improved immensely. I can eat out at restaurants without the paralyzing fear of post-meal pain. I’d def recommend GOGO to anyone who suffers from digestion issues.
Benefit #3: Say good-bye to period bloating!
Before taking FLO, I looked about 6 months pregnant on my period. While my uterus and intestines battled for real estate, I was left feeling like an over-filled balloon. A few weeks after starting FLO, I was shocked when that monthly super-bloat didn’t strike. I did still had some mild bloating, but it was no longer painful (or at the point in which strangers asked about my due date).
I think the two main ingredients in FLO that help me most are Dong Quai and Lemon Balm. Both ingredients are traditionally used to help with cramps, and Dong Quai is famous for its anti-bloating properties. They’re also said to be really effective for people on weight management/loss journeys, so I’d give it a go if that’s your goal!
Downside #1: Can only have 1 serving of each per day.
The only thing I’d recommend to the makers of FLO and GOGO: provide little snack packs without the active ingredients!
After a thorough review, I’m happy to report that my experience was overall very good! I’m optimistic about these products, and I feel a lot lighter on my feet now that my digestion and bloating have significantly improved. I’ll keep at it, and I’ll keep you guys updated on my gummy journey.
